We need your help
Time and a lack of resources have taken their toll on the Grace Church Cemetery. Despite the ongoing efforts of the parishioners of Grace Church, the cemetery is in great need of repair and renovation. Today, several community organizations have joined with the Grace Church Parish to revitalize the Grace Church cemetery in an effort known as the Trinity Gateway Cemetery Renaissance Project. An ambitious project, but nonetheless attainable, the revitalization of the cemetery is intended to provide a green oasis and community focus between Broad Street and Elmwood Avenue at Trinity Square.

In this effort to revitalize the cemetery, the group has been working to transform the Grace Trinity Cemetery and its surrounding properties into a preserved public space which respectful of the intent of its original founders. A major part of this initiative is the collaboration of the neighborhood citizens with public and private agencies, including the South Providence Development Corporation, the City of Providence, the Grace Episcopal Church, the University of Rhode Island Urban Initiative, and Women & Infants Hospital.
